THE TRAXION NAME: For the last several years we have been testing various material throughout skate parks that provide a diverse amount of attendance, dust, and climate. Through this lengthy and rigorous testing phase, we have developed a product with honeycomb shapes embedded into the material which reduces friction between the skate wheel and the ramp surface. This technology allows you a more reliable grip when you need it, and the control you'd want to slide out or revert.Skatelite Traxion will be replacing the previous Skatelite Indoor material. The added benefit to this material is that if you do not want the textured application, you can flip the material over and install the standard mill finish that we have always offered.

PATINA: Richlite patinas like a natural wood product and varies from sheet to sheet. Like wood, it will mature in color, giving greater depth to the surface. Over time and with use, Richlite will develop a seasoned appearance characteristic of the material. There will be more luster in areas of heavier use. Overall, it will appear softer and deeper in tone.
THROUGH COLOR: The Traxion color comes from a combination of the paper and the deep amber tone of the resin. Skatelite's unique manufacturing process uses pre-colored paper. As a result, the color is solid all the way through the material.
SURFACE APPEARANCE: Due to the natural variation in the way fibers lay within the panel, Skatelite has a mottled appearance that patterns in a lengthwise direction. This is less apparent in dark colors, however, the mottled appearance is still present.
