Kenny Anderson- A street skater popular with the industry paparazzi. His fluid tricks and personal style are emulated by thousands of amateurs who pour over his images in popular skate magazines and videos. Kenny gained global recognition in 1998 when he won the Vans Triple Crown street competition.
Bob Burnquist- Brazilian-born vert master recognized as one of the industry’s most progressive and innovative skaters. Won the 2002 Grand Prix, 2002 vert title at Xbox World Championships, the 2001 X Games vert competition, the 2000 Vans Triple Crown and finished near the top in dozens of high caliber events around the world.
Pierre-Luc Gagnon- A force on the skateboarding vert scene since 1992, Gagnon, based out of Montreal, Quebec, has medalled in nearly every competition he’s entered in the past year. Famous for technical no-handed flip tricks. Won 2002 X Games vert competition.
Mat Hoffman- “The Condor” is the greatest BMX vert rider in the history of the sport. Fathered more than 100 tricks, performed during the Olympic ceremonies and won 10 world championships throughout his 20-year pro career. Claimed two X Games vert titles, multiple X Trials victories and broke high air world record – 26.5 feet – on a Skatelite ramp. Runs Hoffman Bikes, a hugely successful business.
Bam Margera- Model citizen. Every teenager’s idol. A pro skater, music fanatic, turned MTV icon turned mega-superstar through his antics in the global blockbuster movie “Jackass.” Also stars in the independent film “Haggard” and latest 411VM skate video.
Dennis McCoy- A legend on the BMX circuit. Acclaimed for his versatility on any riding terrain. One of the few athletes to win championships in dirt, flatland, vert and park competitions. Winner of the 2001 Vans Championships of BMX and five X Games medals throughout his career. Rides out of Lee’s Summit, Missouri.
Taj Mihelich- A world champion dirt, street and minramp rider who has been a mainstay on BMX scene since the mid-90s. Winner of the 2000 Globe World Championships held in Germany. Successful business owner of Terrible One. You can catch Taj in Etnies Forward video.
Chris Miller- An original member of the early-80s Southern California crew that transformed skateboarding into a global sport and lucrative lifestyle. Today he’s a successful business entrepreneur behind Planet Earth clothing, Adio and Hawk shoes, and he’s a sought after broadcaster and announcer for televised skateboarding events.
Ryan Nyquist- Dictated path of freestyle BMX riding on dirt and in the park since his first competition in 1995. Won the 2002 Vans Triple Crown of BMX title, the 2002 X Games park competition, the 2001 Vans Triple Crown in dirt and street, and 2000 Summer X Games in dirt. Known for his trademark backflip barspins and 720 spins, he has accomplished the seemingly impossible on a bike and continues to gain mainstream media exposure beyond belief.
Simon Tabron- European BMX vert champion hailing from Bristol, GBR, has earned global media coverage by consistently pulling off massive 900s, big flairs and no-handed 540s 13 feet above the ramp. Tabron has medaled at dozens of the world’s top freestyle events since entering his first competition in 1986. In 2002 he won the vert titles at the Gravity Games, the Urban Games in London, the Euro X Games in Spain and the World Championships in Germany.
